
Garhwa :- The mortal remains of former minister, four-term MLA, and one-time MP, the senior Jharkhand leader Chandrashekhar Dubey, alias Dadai Dubey, were brought to his ancestral village, Choka, in Kandi block today. From there, his body was taken to Varanasi for the final rites, where he will be cremated later this evening at Raja Harishchandra Ghat.In the final journey, his close associate and disciple-like social worker and youth leader, Abhimanyu Singh alias Bablu Singh, gave him a heartfelt farewell by shouldering his bier as a son would. Many dignitaries, supporters, and villagers from the region were present.

The massive crowd that gathered for the final journey symbolized that Dadai Dubey was not just a politician but a public servant who resided in the hearts of the common people. Shri Dubey was a veteran leader, MLA, and MP of the Congress party.With a heavy heart, Abhimanyu Singh stated that “Shri Dubey was like a father to him, who always guided him as a guardian. It was from Dadai Dubey that he received inspiration for social service.

Shouldering his bier for the final farewell today is the most emotional moment of his life.” Not only Abhimanyu Singh but the entire region’s populace is deeply saddened by his demise. He offered his heartfelt tributes and prayed for the peace of his soul, wishing strength to his family members in this moment of grief.It is noteworthy that Chandrashekhar Dubey alias Dadai Dubey’s political life was extremely challenging and inspiring. As an MLA, minister, and MP, he understood the sentiments of the people and became a companion in their joys and sorrows. During his tenure, the interests of the poor, laborers, farmers, and Dalits always remained a priority. He was known as a fearless, pro-people, and honest politician.

The passing of Dadai Dubey is an irreparable loss not only for Garhwa-Palamu but for the entire political landscape of Jharkhand. A large number of people from Jharkhand are also attending the last rites in Varanasi.Offering a heartfelt tribute, he saluted the “popular public servant countless times and stated that his ideology and struggle will remain an inspiration for all of us.”
