They brought with them gas cylinders, gas cutters, and several other tools, suggesting their intention was to cut open the bank’s vault and steal cash. They likely gained entry through the bank’s rear side or an area with less surveillance.

As soon as the thieves began their operation, the bank’s automatic alarm system was triggered. Startled by the loud noise, the burglars panicked and had to flee the scene immediately. They abandoned all the equipment they brought, including the gas cylinders and cutters, leaving them behind.
